I've got a a semi acoustic. It's called a Lothlorian and it was made by a guy in Guildford, Surrey called Andrew Whale. Lovely guitar and it has a deep dirty sound, I'll post a pic of it when I get home!

Nice guitars by the way Foz!

Now we're talking!

Acoustics:
Takamine EG540SC - I use this one live as it's an electro-acoustic
Takamine G330S - the old version which I use for recording as it sounds beautiful

Electrics:
Parker Fly Classic (red)
Yamaha Pacifica 604W (trans blue) Higher end model with the wilkinson trem. Great guitar.
Epiphone Les Paul Standard (black)
Yamaha RBX-5 bass

I also have the obligatory cheap strat copy which is in pieces, a 3/4 nylon string, a Marlin steel string acoustic I bought off a guy for £10, and I bought my dad a couple of guitars when I worked at a music shop - a surprisingly good cheap steel string acoustic and a cheap strat copy which looks great and plays quite well.

Now if we're talking amps I have two rigs I use...

Big rig with pedals:
Laney GH100L
Marshall 1936 2x12
Marshall BB-2 (boost pedal)
Marshall ED-1 (compressor)
Marshall EV-1 (delay)
'BYOC' custom built MXR Phase 90 clone
www.buildyourownclone.com

Smaller rig:
Line6 POD pro
Mesa 20/20
Korg DTR-2 tuner
Samson power strip
Marshall 1936 2x12
Behringer FCB1010 MIDI foot controller.

Phew, that's it!

You lucky mutha bleeper lol. Very nice and I'm slightly jealous! If we're talking effects pedals I have Zoom 505II which is damn nice to use.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the Parker! That puppy costs more than the rest of them put together! LOL

The Les Paul is great for playing rock. You just feel like a rock god with the amp cranked and that round your neck.

The Takamines play beautifully (especially the G330). It's got such a low action and a lovely warm tone.

I got an Ibanez ARC 100, and a 15w marshall amp, started just before christmas, playin on my mum's old acoustics, one's a F-611 Kasuga and the other is a (J661) Suzuki.

learning stairway to heaven at mo (this second).
lookin for my own acoustic, but a cheap, pants one to take places (i.e. park/beech/holiday), possibly second hand. looked on ebay, but all the p&p is like £10-£20 as their large.

Here's an old shot of my guitars (summer '06)

What isn't shown is my bass and my fretless guitar which I'm currently in the process of making!

a fretless gutar? wtf lol. the only guitar i have is guitar hero, which i find really great, its brilliant, les paul gibson, white finish, colourful fret, whammy bar, even a compartment to store my wii remote, best guitar ever

Tom
14-03-2008, 04:46 PM
Yeah, fretless guitars are awesome! They're really hard to play but you can do some awesome things. I'll try and get some audio clips or videos done when it's finished. I've got a lot to do though. I've basically removed the frets from an old guitar and filled the gaps with epoxy. I need to sand it down, sand down and refinish the body and then decide what pickups and electronics I want.

so im guessing you love guitars then? can u play any well known songs?

Tom
14-03-2008, 04:51 PM
My tastes in music kind of stray from 'well known songs' but (at the risk of sounding like a flash so and so) I am willing to bet I can play anything you'll hear on mainstream radio given the music.

ben93
14-03-2008, 04:52 PM
you have guiter heo 3 right? can u play any of the songs on there cos i really like most of them? cliffs of dover perhaps? raining blood? dragonforce!? lol.

Tom
14-03-2008, 04:55 PM
Never played Raining Blood of Dragonforce (not a huge fan of either band) but from Guitar Hero 3 I know I can play One (Metallica) and Knights of Cydonia (Muse). I used to play in a Metallica cover band at school and me and a mate did an acoustic cover of Knights of Cydonia once. I've never played it but I know Cliffs of Dover pretty well so could pick it up quickly.

kimpossible08
14-03-2008, 05:08 PM
That could be one reason, price could be another and they'll think that i wont stick at them so there will be no point wasting money on them!! lol

huzzellio

Cheers Ben, I like it!! They're controls for the two sets of pickups (the two black rectangular things). One pair control the tone and the other two are the volume.

That's awesome Huzzellio! I love the flame-top - it looks like a PRS job. I love the colours.

And maybe I should mention that I play drums too. I'm lucky that our house is detached so it doesn't bother the neighbours too much.

That's the one thing I don't really do! I hate the sound of my voice so I sing backing vocals at most (and only when I'm forced to!) I think I just play lots of other instruments to make up for it (keyboards, drums, bass).

yeah lol, is anyone here going to get rock band when it arrives? im really tempted
