I'm bit confused I thought you play this game by putting the remote into the wheel and tilting it to steer... However I just saw an advert today and they were using the nunchuck and remote... So i'm guessing you could probably use both ways. What I would like to know is if it makes any difference to the game play chosing either way... for example using the nunchuck could you then use the remote to aim shells and stuff...
Also how responsive is the remote using the wheel???
I'm after this game but they seem to be out of stock everywhere... arrrgghhh...

There are four ways to play this. You saw the wiimote and nunchuck combo.
Other 3 ways are
1.Wii wheel
2.Classic controller
3.GameCube Controller
You got that?.........Good.
Now the wii wheel, Its easier for me as I tried to get back using the Classic controller...but it wasnt comfortable for me, I need to use motion sensor.
Wii wheel is best just haave some practise thats all.
Responsive is great.
Yeah my mate tried to buy it but it was sold out everywhere aswell. Good luck on your hunt though.

The Wii wheel works brilliantly for me but some people find the remote and nunchuk option easier. It really depends on your taste.

I find the wheel far more intuitive than the nunchuck as you can directly relate to kart for cornering. Turn the wheel a little bit, kart turns a little bit, just like proper real driving!

Yeah, I totally agree. I have had no trouble using the wheel, it is very logical to use. On the other hand, taking the remote out of the steering wheel and using it sideways causes me problems. Don't know why but my steering is all over the place, shouldn't be but it is

Call me old fashioned for not using the wheel and sticking with good ol' remote and nunchuck but thats what I prefer to use.

Hey, don't get me wrong, I haven't booked the week off specifically for wii-playing! But i'll certainly be giving the game some hammer. Look forward to seeing you online, Mr Franksta dude ;)

Finally got the game and gotta say playing with the wii wheel is awesome. Didn't think it'd be that responsive but it is. I do on occasions drift the wrong way though which is frustrating. But probably more me own fault.

hi, its the classic controller for me,i tried the wii wheel, boy did i try, but i too found myself drifting in the wrong direction...i think u have to turn into corner first and then drift, but i tend to start drifting first then turn into corner...thats how i always done it and too old to change now...lol..

Thought I'd try the Gamecube controller yesterday, but it just didn't feel as immersive as the wheel, and I didn't find it any more accurate either. Think I'll stick to using the wheel, it just feels too damn right not to :)

I'm curious about using the classic controller, might give it a go at some stage, just can't imagine using it rather than the Wheel. Mind you, I enjoy using it on Mario Kart 64 :D
